Kitty, I'm so glad I've found this blog and I look forward to the book. In case you're interested, I've posted about its release to the eGullet crowd. You may get some traffic that way. You can also, if you have time and are interested, join (for free) and interact with the group there. Here's the link to the topic I started about the book: https://forums.egullet.org/topic/165051-bitter-sweet-a-wartime-journal-and-heirloom-recipes-from-occupied-france-kitty-morse/#comment-2381122

I tried to link to the eGullet site, but it is quite confusing. Thank you for your support.

Note that in order to respond you'll have to join the eG Society. It's free, it's easy, and eGullet is a very pleasant place to interact with other cooks, should you wish to do so.

If you haven't spoken with Ken Concepcion the owner of the cookbook shop in Los Angeles 'Now Serving' I would highly recommend it. He puts on some nice author events as well.

"Bittersweet" is moving, gripping and a tribute to your resilient French ancestors. I have the greatest admiration for you and Owen, who dedicated years to the writing of this fascinating book and the testing and photographing the many wonderful recipes. Kudos to both of you.

Your 'very old' friend,

Pat McArdle.
